Just a little update from the front lines in Icecrown Citadel.

After spending a few weeks on getting comfortable with the first wing, we decided it was time to move on, and so after our only second visit to the Plaugewing, we faced Festergut and killed him once we had a few trys to get the tactics in order, he surely went down in style with only 20 sec until enrage hit.

The party happy went on to get some practise on Rotface, and after some running around we decided to come back after some sleep to end the poor creature's misery !

XX making great progress

What a great week it has been. In Ulduar 10 we managed to get both Hodir and Freja (see the picture) down after a few tries, and in Trial of the Crusader 10 the twin val'kyr's died too.

As I write this, it turns out the rest of the guys have just been in TOC without me, killing the final boss Anub'arak. What a great week it have been.

Onyxia didn't stand a chance

Last night 10 brave raiders from the RDCE went to Dustwallow Marsh to play with an old friend.
Two wipes later the mighty dragon wasn't that mighty anymore.

The Northren Beasts downed by Royal Slackers

Together with three of our friends from Rebuff Slackers, the RDCE decided to give the newest raid content a try.
It only took a few tries before the first encounter of the Trial of the Crusader (10-man) was downed.

Before disbanding for the night we managed to get a few tries on the next boss, the doomguard Lord Jaraxxus, and we almost downed him too. Unfortunately we didn't have that last bid of luck needed to kill him.
He will go down soon, and so will the last few bosses in Ulduar.

RDCE downs the Iron Council (10-man)

Last week the forces of the Royal Danish Combat Elite killed the three bosses of the The Assembly of Iron, also known as the Iron Council.
Yesterday it only took one try to down the bosses, and we are now officially farming the council.

This was the 7th of the 14 boss encounters in Ulduar to be cleared by the RDCE.

Deconstructor (25-man) got kicked in his shiny metal a$$

In a combined raid the RDCE and Rebuff Slackers finally managed to down the XT-002 Deconstructer in 25-man Ulduar.

To celebrate this, I present you the worst kill screenshot of all time:

Congratulations to the loot recievers (I forgot who, sorry).
Next up is Kalogarn. We can't be far from downing him too.

RDCE continues to raid in Northrend

Since Wrath of the Lich King was released RDCE has been busy raiding the instances of Northrend.
So far Naxxramas, Obsidian Sanctum, Vault of Archavon and The Eye of Eternity have all been cleared in normal mode and on heroic in colaboration with our friends from Rebuff Slackers.

In Ulduar we have succesfully downed several in 25-man, again in colaboration with Rebuff Slackers. In the 10-man version of the instance we have succeeded in killing 5 of the 14 bosses.
